Centennial Office Design
Spacial Branding Job - New Era Fuels
Moving to a new headquarters in Essex, international fuel-distribution company New Era Fuels commissioned me to design their office interior; a single floor of 5500 sq. ft approx.
Marking their 100th year in business, I created a theme of 'a continuous journey', which I manifested with a simple but striking red line running across the walls and floor, beginning at the entrance to the lobby, encompassing every department, and ending at the far end by the directors' offices. It was symbolic of the journey, and highlighted the importance of every member of staff in bringing the company to that point.
First I measured the space and produced a schematic, and added walls, doors, desks and storage. After creating a 2D plan, I modelled a low-poly version of the prospective space in 3D and pitched to the directors. I then liaised with construction and architecture teams to build the office from my designs.
