Commercial Freelance - Bethesda
To design packaging for a range of die-cast model cars that were released in 2019 as merchandise for the newly-released Bethesda sci-fi game Fallout 76.
Aside from the packaging itself (both a monochrome inner box and a full-colour sleeve) for both vehicles - Fusion Flea and Pick-R-Up - I also devised a concept that brought the packaging into the world and canon of the game itself. I also designed the (yellow) livery of the two limited edition versions, and created a set of enamel pins that form an image with the full set is collected. Finally, I used 3D modelling and rendering to bring the packaging to life and use for marketing purposes before the boxes were physically printed.
Despite a lukewarm reception to the game itself, the reaction to the die-cast model merchandise was overwhelmingly positive. The limited edition run of both Flea and Pick-R-Up sold out within minutes and over 12,000 of the standard versions have been sold overall worldwide.
