NEF Brand Book
Commercial Job - New Era Fuels.
To re-design the visual identity of a 95 year-old fuel company, New Era Fuels, and write and produce a corresponding brand guidelines document.
I pitched the 'N-Flash' logo itself while working part-time at New Era Fuels, and single-handedly built it up into a full identity over the following year (2016). I worked in a fast-expanding graphics team to implement the new brand across all digital, print, socials, vehicle liveries and more. After delivering a finished brand book in 2017, I left the company to focus on my studies. Following my graduation, I rejoined and evolved the NEF identity to be more fluid and adaptive, which culminated in the delivery of a second, updated brand book, excerpts from which are shown here. It is in this second version that I designed the Red Line motif, now a visual staple of the brand.
Prior to my re-design, NEF's identity was divided into 3 different logo designs, all in circulation (See Non-Compliant Versions).
